I’m a full-time music teacher with over four years’ teaching experience in guitar, ukulele and bass.
I’m a firm believer that it’s never too late or too early to learn something new and have taught students from ages 4 to 60. Music has been one of my greatest passions ever since I started learning piano at the age of 8.
Whether it’s listening to, playing, creating or teaching music, I love every moment of it – and it’s what’s motivated me to spend three years completing a Bachelor of Music at the University of Auckland.
I’ve been playing guitar and bass for over 8 years, and I’m honoured to have had the opportunity to play with many bands on stages all around New Zealand.
Whether it’s acoustic or electric guitar, I have played a diverse range of different genres and always look forward to experimenting with new styles! I understand that everyone’s musical journey is unique, which is why I offer a personal, self-written guitar curriculum. Not only do I help my students develop their technical skills, but I also strive to inspire their enthusiasm and encourage their desire to learn and create. I’ve helped students advance from absolute beginner to playing many chords and popular songs within just a few weeks.
